Graphic design projects begin with a detailed design brief between the client and designer.
This serves three purposes:
• Ensures the client knows exactly what s/he wants to achieve.
• Acts as a point of reference for everyone involved.
The more information a client provides from the beginning, the more value for the money s/he will receive from the graphic designer. But, we’re also adept in providing stunning designs from even the shortest of briefs.
At this time, we can also cover any printing needs that you may require for the execution of your design. We can discuss options like ink colors, paper stocks, etc. Print samples are also available upon request.
Using the information collected, we’ll develop a quote and outline of the project, which will be emailed to you for approval before proceeding. We’ll also include the technical specifications for review.
Once this is finalized, we request a 50% deposit to begin the design process, or you may choose to apply for a business credit account.
Next, we brainstorm creative solutions for your project.
Our goal is to create a custom design and finished product that perfectly represents your company and/or desired style; and is consistent with your brand.
In a short period of time, we’ll email you the initial design proof for review. Often, the designers will present multiple options to choose from. The designs may vary in color, typestyle, layout and positioning. Presenting you with multiple versions of the design also allows us to combine your favorite elements from each.
Based on your feedback, we present a second round of design, if needed. It isn’t uncommon to have a couple more rounds of changes before completing a final design.
We also handle the print management for our clients. Our printing department utilizes the latest technology and equipment to ensure that your printed items are of the highest quality and competitive pricing. Our professional press operators are masters at maintaining ink consistency and coverage, maintaining accuracy, and meeting tight deadlines.
We also provide your finished design in multiple file formats to cover any potential use of your new design or logo in print, advertising, or on the Internet.
• Artwork in PDF file format
• High Resolution JPG file format
• EPS Vector Format*
• PNG Format with transparency**
